so i learned that trying to rent the movie "happy feet" in this city on a friday night is impossible. i tried three places and none of them had it. and they weren't even those "guaranteed or its free movies" where you get the credit. probably because the movie people were smart enough to know that they would all be sold out on a friday and they'd lose a ton of money. as i was not as smart as the movie people and didn't think in advance that it might be gone, i found myself an hour into looking and still no happy feet. the thing was i had important plans with a friend to watch it and i could not return empty handed. so i bought. i can't believe i paid $30 for a movie that i'd never seen.
but it was hilarious. and let me tell something to you, did i ever love the latin penguins.
after watching all the special features (including the "how to dance like a penguin" instruction video) we put in "what about bob?" classic. i laughed so hard.
completely awesome fun night.

Happy Feet?!?! Don't you mean Casino Royale?? awww, c'mon am I the only one rooting for this new James Bond...he's a total babe. He doesn't do cheesy one liners, no steamy sex scenes, doesn't care if his martini is shaken or stirred..and he's RIPPED!
